Crowd manager training is required by all national fire code standards in public assembly occupancies (i.e. nightclubs, auditoriums, ballrooms/banquet halls, arenas, etc.) during all hours of operation. If you are affiliated with such an occupancy, or otherwise require the training, there are online courses available which you can participate in to become certified. Learn what to do in case of an emergency BEFORE one occurs.
The Park Forest Fire Department no longer offers an in person or online crowd manager training program. The link below is to a 2-hour online course written by fire safety code experts in accordance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 1 Fire Code, as well as the International Fire Code (IFC).
