Murder on the Orient Express w/Lunch at Wildfire Oakbrook 

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stopped the Orient Express in its tracks. The next morning, an American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed, his door locked from the inside. Isolated with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on famed detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer before they strike again. Join us for Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express performed at the Drury Lane Theatre. 

Before the show, we'll enjoy an Executive Club Lunch at 4.5-star Wildfire Oak Brook. Menu selections include Spit-Roasted Herb Chicken, Basil Hayden's Bourbon Tenderloin Tips, or Cedar-Planked Salmon
Meals will be chosen on-site.

Elf The Musical

Elf the Musical w/ Lunch at Seasons 52

After discovering he is really a human raised as an elf, Buddy makes the journey from the North Pole to New York City to find his birth father, sharing the true meaning of Christmas along the way. Elf the Musical brings heart, hilarity, and holiday joy—after all, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!” Based on the hit Christmas film, the musical adaptation was nominated for one Drama League Award. 
Before the show, we'll enjoy a Signature Lunch at 4.5-star Seasons 52 in Oak Brook. Menu selections include Brick-Oven Vegetable Gnocchi, Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon, and Wood-Grilled Dry-Rubbed Pork Chop. Meals must be selected before the event. *Please note that menu selection may change for the Fall season.

The Pan African Historical Theatre Project Now known as PANAFEST (Historic Return of African Diaspora) is a cultural event held in Ghana every two years for Africans and people of African descent. It was first held in 1992. The idea of this festival is to promote and enhance unity, Pan-Africanism, and the development of the continent of Africa itself.

•The Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health will need the name, date of birth, address, phone number, and emergency number of each person registering for a trip. 

•Before participating in any program or event sponsored by the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health, a waiver must be signed by the participant or responsible parent/guardian.  

•Trip return times are approximate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances and traffic.

•In the event of low enrollment, a luxury passenger van may be substituted for a motorcoach bus.

•Vaccines or proof of negative COVID-19 results may be required according to venue mandates.  

Refunds - Refunds for trips may vary due to non-refundable tickets or fees. Refund requests made prior to the trip deadline date will be given less a 5% refund fee. Cancellations made by the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health are not subject to the 5% refund fee. Online registration processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds may be processed as a household credit or a check through the Village of Park Forest Finance Department. Please allow 10 business days for a refund by check.

Credit/debit card transactions are processed through Active Network, LLC.  Active Network, LLC may appear on your credit card/bank statement as the merchant for your trip purchase; rather than Village of Park Forest, Department of Recreation, Parks, & Community Health.
