Nicor Natural Gas Meter Relocation Program

nicor gas news flash image

Heads up Park Foresters!

Some residents may have received a notice from Nicor Gas about their gas system improvement initiative. The gas company is working to move all natural gas meters currently located inside homes and businesses to the outside.

Not all homes or businesses will be impacted by this multi-year plan, however, some will be.

What can you expect if your home or business is on the list?

If Nicor Gas has your business or home on its list to move the gas meter outside, you should receive some sort of notice from them. That notice could come in the mail, a door hanger, phone call, or a representative knocking on the door.

That representative could be from Nicor or a contractor with the gas company, KS Energy. They will contact you and schedule an appointment with you to move your gas meter from inside of your home or business to the outside. For more information on that process, click here, to view the full flyer click here, and to view FAQs click here

For more information about this project, contact Brandon Seward at 773-256-7145 or via email at: bseward@ksenergyservices.com
