  1. Board of Trustees – Rules and Regular Meeting

    All Board meetings take place at Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive. Residents are encouraged to attend meetings of the Board. Residents wishing to speak before the Board should be aware of the following: • Residents must begin their comments by identifying themselves by name and address • Comments are limited to five minutes • Comments made during Rules meetings may only relate to items covered on the agenda • Comments made during Regular meetings may be on any Village-related topic • Village Board meetings are taped and broadcast live online and on Park Forest’s local cable channel

  1. 1950S PARK FOREST HOUSE MUSEUM

    April 15, 2021 - September 7, 2021

    The museum is decorated in summer colors. Aqua Center history display up. Call to verify exhibit. Watch for possible regular hours resuming. The 1950s Park Forest House Museum represents an original Park Forest home, furnished as it might have been from 1948-1953, the first five years of Park Forest occupancy. When visiting, please park in the small lot by the flagpole and knock on the door next to the museum sign. This is the only way volunteers will know you are there.   2. FARMERS’ MARKET

    Celebrating 47 years, every Saturday morning from May through October, the Main Street Market has something for everyone. Rain or shine, fresh garden and produce is available as well as bakery goods. In addition, your favorite local businesses set up shop under their awnings with baubles, artwork, garden ornaments, candles, and more! Come to the Market to meet friends, chat, browse, have breakfast or lunch, and shop. Local civic groups can give demonstrations, hold fundraisers and other events at no charge but must be registered in advance. A sample of vendors this year includes: Flammin’ Hotties, selling chili; Miss Mary’s, famous butter cookies; dairy products by Oberweis; Maureen’s, herb basket, and many more.
