Forum on health care in the south suburbs, March 18

Join The League of Women Voters – Park Forest Area for a forum on health care delivery in the south suburbs.

As the debate over health care continues nationally, the quality of life in every community across the country is significantly impacted by the availability of health care services. In recognition of the issue, the monthly meeting of the League of Women Voters- Park Forest Area will focus on health care delivery.

The forum takes place on Saturday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at Park Forest’s Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive.

Representatives from the following organizations will be on hand for a panel discussion:

  • Cook County Health and Hospitals System (South Suburban Cluster-Oak Forest Health Center)
  • Franciscan Alliance at St. James
  • Park Forest Health Department Nurses Plus
  • South Suburban Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse

Speakers will share information on services they provide, eligibility criteria, and how to access their services. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer period.
