The Public Works Department is aggressive in repairing sidewalk tripping hazards within the public right of way. If you believe that your sidewalk has a tripping hazard, call 708-503-7702, and one of our inspectors will evaluate the sidewalk for repair.
In 2019, the Village has contracts with Davis Concrete and Olthoff, Inc. for sidewalk replacement. Work will generally take place in three rounds; one round in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. These contractors will also replace concrete damaged from utility repairs.
