The Village of Park Forest and AmeriCorps NCCC are accepting applications for an income-qualified home weatherization program for Park Forest residents. Improvements could include air sealing, door sweeps, weather stripping, and sealing switches and outlets. All upgrades are made at no charge for income-qualified homes.
Qualified applicants will be contacted after June 10, 2022, to schedule their home inspection. If their home is found to be structurally sound, they will be scheduled to receive home weatherization services in August 2022.
Applications must be received at the Department of Economic Development and Planning by Friday, June 10, 2022.
