Branch Pick-Up
The Department of Public Works is completing a final sweep following strong storms that produced a tornado in Park Forest on Aug. 10. Crews have been working around the clock since the storm to aid residents by collecting branches left curbside.
The below map offers a helpful tool for residents to understand what areas of the community have been completed and what areas are still scheduled for branch collection.
Please note that once crews have serviced your street, they will not return. It will then be the responsibility of the resident to have the branches removed. For your convenience, residents may drop off branches in the parking lot adjacent to the Village Hall.
Please also note that after Public Works ends branch removal in the coming days, the Building Department will then be issuing citations to residents who have trees and branches at the curb.
The below list is being provided to assist homeowners in identifying tree services in the area. Tree service contractors are not required to be licensed in Park Forest. As such, residents should be sure to thoroughly investigate the professionalism and quality of services being considered and, if possible, obtain at least three quotes from competing businesses before selecting one.
