You will enjoy one of the largest Amish communities in the world.
In town you can visit a variety of shops, an antique auction, visit the Mennohaus Museum or enjoy an authentic Amish style meal.
Just a few blocks from downtown you will find over a thousand
vendors selling everything from fresh fruit to handcrafted furniture
at the Shipshewana flea market. Fee includes motor coach
transportation; lunch is on your own.

  CHICAGO CUBS VS. ST. LOUIS CARDINALS
One of sports’ greatest rivalries adds a new chapter, as Albert Pujols and The
St. Louis Cardinals travel north on I-55 to collide with Derek Lee and
The Chicago Cubs. Seating for this game is very limited. Children under
13 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. School bus transportation
is provided.

LONG GROVE APPLE FEST

Have bushels of fun with friends and apple-enthusiasts at Long Grove’s
18th annual Apple Festival.

Enjoy apple-inspired treats, free entertainment, shopping in trendy shops
and boutiques and the beautiful ambiance of the historic buildings and colorful
gardens. Fee includes motor coach transportation; lunch is on your own.
Children  13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Recreation Dept. offers senior day trips throughout the year. Information is sent to those on the
senior trips mailing list. If you are not on the list, please call the Recreation Office at 748-2005.
You can also receive information online by signing up for email notification  - choose "Parks Trips" from the list)






Nothing kills a good program quicker than waiting until the last minute to register! 
Please sign up early or the program that you want may have to be cancelled.
