WEE-CARE DAY CAMP
(Formerly Pre-school Day Camp)
Come join us for a variety of age appropriate activities for your youngster to enjoy that will enhance the
child’s motor, language and social skills. The children will spend their day creating arts & crafts, engaging
in sports and team activities, and enjoying stories, games and toys. We will also spend part of our time
outdoors, weather permitting. (No meeting July 5)
Ages 3 $95 7 weeks

CAMP CAN-DO
(Formerly Wonder Camp)
The campers will spend their day creating crafts, playing games, and enjoying our area parks and wetlands.
There will be a new theme every week that promotes participation and creativity. This year campers will
also be taking part in swim lessons and open swim at the Park Forest Aqua Center. Field trips (optional)
are planned for Wednesdays for an additional fee and there will be no program at the site on field trip
days. On Aqua Center days children will swim from 12-1 pm, so pick up/drop off time will change.
(No meeting July 5)

DISCOVERY DAY CAMP
(Formerly Super Camp)
The campers will pass the day crafting, playing team sports, and discovering what the local parks and
wetlands of Park Forest have to offer. There will be weekly themes to promote the imagination and
enhance their experience at Discovery Day Camp. Campers will also be engaging in swim lessons and
open swim at the Park Forest Aqua Center. Weekly field trips (optional) are planned for Wednesdays
for an additional fee and there will be no program at the site on field trip days. On Aqua Center days

SUMMERSCAPE DAY CAMP
(Formerly Cool Camp)
Campers will partake in a variety of activities in a fun and caring environment. The day will consist of
games and sports, arts and crafts, and strengthening their experiences environmentally in our area
parks and wetlands. The day will end at The Park Forest Aqua Center where we will enhance our
swimming skills and cool off in the process. Off-site field trips are planned for Wednesdays for an
additional fee. No program at the site on field trip days. (No meeting July 5).

CAMPAPALOOZA
(Formerly Camp Complay)
Welcome to Campapalooza, the camp where everyone is outstanding in their own way. Come learn
and grow with us at Campapalooza where the participants will engage in team sports, craft projects,
swimming, and environmental exploration. There will be weekly field trips and plenty of outdoor fun!
Participants provide their own sack lunch and transportation to and from the site. Payment plans
are available. (No meeting July 5)

EARLY RISER'S CAMP
Get an early start on your camp day with low-key activities to ease into the morning. Early Riser’s
camp is open to youth from any of our four camps that would like to extend their camp experience
and begin the day with books, puzzles or games with their fellow campers and staff. (No meeting July 5)

POLICE ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES CENTER (P.A.A.C.)
This program is offered to Park Forest youth ranging in ages from 10 to 15. It is held at Forest Trail Middle School
on Monday thru Thursday from June 14, 2010 thru July 29, 2010 and runs from 5:30-8:30 pm. Activities will
include basketball, flag football, soccer, track and field, baseball/softball, volleyball, and other sports related
competitions. Participants should wear athletic attire and footwear daily. Weekly visits to the Aqua Center
are included in this program. The P.A.A.C. program focuses on character development providing a weekly
theme and mentoring services.
There is a $30.00 fee for this program and all payments need to be made at the Park Forest Police Department.
All participants will receive at camp T-shirt. Registration for P.A.A.C. will begin on May 3, 2010 and is limited to

POLICE CENTRAL SPORTS CLUB (P.C.S.C)
This program is offered to Park Forest youth ranging in ages from 5 to 17. It is held at Central Park on Monday thru
Thursday from June 14, 2010 thru July 29, 2010 and runs from 2:00-4:00 pm. Activities will include softball/baseball,
flag football, soccer, tennis, basketball, track and field, and other sports related competitions. Participants should
wear athletic attire and footwear daily. The club will focus on teaching skills such as leadership, sportsmanship,
athletic training, and self-discipline while providing mentoring services and character development. All youth ranging
in ages from 5 to 8 will have access to playground equipment daily. Field trips to the Park Forest Aqua Center will be provided.
There is a $15.00 fee for this program and all payments must be made at the Park Forest Police Department.
Registration for P.C.S.C. will begin on May 3, 2010. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the

ILLINOIS THEATRE CENTER
PROJECT S.A.M. (Summer Arts Marathon)
Now in it's 33rd year, this program gives children ages 6 through 12 the opportunity to explore music, art, dance, drama, and
creative writing. The project culminates in an art exhibit, performing arts concert, and publication of a creative writing magazine.
Meets three mornings a week - Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for six weeks - June 21 through July 30.
