All Board meetings take place at Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive. Residents are encouraged to attend meetings of the Board.
Residents wishing to speak before the Board should be aware of the following:
• Residents must begin their comments by identifying themselves by name and address
• Comments are limited to five minutes
• Comments made during Rules meetings may only relate to items covered on the agenda
• Comments made during Regular meetings may be on any Village-related topic • Village Board meetings are taped and broadcast live online and on Park Forest’s local cable channel

Join our Earth Day hike at 2 p.m. to explore woodland vernal ponds and wetlands while listening for the calls of the wetland inhabitants! Learn which frogs, toads and salamanders live in these woods and why water is so important to them.
Meet in front of the nature center. This event is sponsored by the Jim Marzuki Fund for Public Programming. Please bring your own hand sanitizer, a face mask, binoculars and a water bottle and be prepared to follow the social distancing protocol of 6 feet.

Participants should be able to walk 2 miles outdoors on natural surface trails across uneven terrain. Trails can be wet, muddy and slippery. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 708.747.6320.

Get down and dirty at our Thorn Creek workday. Help repair boardwalks, maintain trails, or weed and nurture our prairie sampler and butterfly gardens. Bring gloves, favorite tools and dress for the weather. Please bring your own hand sanitizer, face mask, binoculars, water bottle and be prepared to follow the social distancing of 6 feet. Ages 13 – adult, children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult; 9 participants maximum.
