Petition packets available for residents interested in running for office

Petition packets are now available for residents interested in running for elected office in Park Forest. 

The next Park Forest election will be held on April 6, 2021. There will be three village trustee positions up for election, each for a four-year term. Additionally, five Park Forest Public Library trustee positions will be up for election. The first day to file petitions is Dec. 14. The last day to file petitions is Dec. 21. Those interested in running for office should pick-up packets in the Village Manager’s office at Village Hall, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Angela Thurston at 708-283-5605.
