  1. Scarecrow Contest

    Get your entries in by Monday, October 1. We encourage individuals, families, schools and businesses to enter, All scarecrows will need to be completed and dropped off by Monday, October 22. The community is welcome to vote on the scarecrows from Tuesday, October 23- Wednesday, October 31. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 31. 1st Place Winner: $250; 2nd Place: $150 and 3rd Place: $50 Gift Card. Local businesses are also on hand selling artwork, garden ornaments, jewelry, and more. EBT/Link, WIC, and Senior Nutrition Coupons accepted. The Market is open Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., May through October, for shopping, food, and entertainment.

  5. Haunts Against Hunger: Haunted House

    October 26, 2018, 7:00 PM - October 31, 2018, 9:00 PM

    Come support a good cause and visit our Haunted House. Every year has a different twist to it. Haunts Against Hunger collects canned goods and funds to donate to the local Rich and Monee Township Food Pantries. Tickets will be $6 with canned goods; $8 without canned goods; and $50 for a group of 10 or more ($5 per person), with or without canned goods. Pick a day or two, bring your entire family, friends and enjoy. Early ticket sales will start October 1. Tickets can be purchased at the Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive, Park Forest (Rec & Parks Counter, 1st Floor/Lobby), 9a-5p. After 5p, the day of the Haunted House, ticket sales will be one hour prior to start and 15 minutes prior to closing, in the Lobby of Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive.
